Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Guidelines for Manuscript Submission to the Journal of Cyber World Insight

  1. Title Page:
  • Include the title of the manuscript.
  • List all authors with their full names and affiliations.
  • Designate a corresponding author and provide their email address.
  • Include ORCiDs and social media handles if available.
  1. Abstract:
  • Provide an unstructured abstract of 100 words summarizing the key points of the manuscript.
  1. Keywords:
  • Include a list of keywords that capture the main themes of the manuscript.
  1. Main Text:
  • Introduction: Present the background, objectives, and relevance of the study.
  • Materials and Methods: Describe the research design, data collection, and analytical methods.
  • Results: Report the findings of the study.
  • Discussion: Interpret the results, discuss implications, and relate findings to existing literature.
  1. Acknowledgements:
  • Acknowledge individuals or organizations that contributed to the research.
  1. Declaration of Interest Statement:
  • Disclose any financial or non-financial interests related to the research.
  1. References:
  • Cite all sources in the main text following a consistent citation style.
  • Include a comprehensive list of references at the end of the manuscript.
  1. Appendices (as Appropriate):
  • Include supplementary material that enhances the understanding of the main text.
  1. Tables:
  • Present tables on individual pages with clear captions.
  • Ensure tables present new information and are editable.
  1. Figures: - Insert figures in the manuscript, ensuring high quality. - Include a list of figure captions.
  2. Manuscript Length: - Manuscripts should be between 3000 and 10,000 words, inclusive of all elements.
  3. Review Essays: - Engage in-depth with one or several books, offering a contribution to the literature. - Essays should be commissioned; however, suggestions can be sent to editor@cyberworldinsight.com.

Articles

The Journal of Cyber World Insight is committed to maintaining the highest academic rigour and excellence standards. All submitted manuscripts undergo a thorough and fair peer review process to ensure the published articles' quality, relevance, and originality.

Peer Review Process:

Upon submission, each manuscript is initially reviewed by the editorial team to assess its alignment with the journal's scope and formatting guidelines.

Manuscripts that meet the initial criteria are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers with relevant expertise in the field.

The peer review process follows a double-blind review, ensuring the anonymity of both the authors and reviewers.

Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement, and the editors use this feedback to make informed decisions.

Selection of Reviewers:

Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, academic credentials, and prior experience in the subject matter the manuscript addresses.

The editorial team endeavours to avoid conflicts of interest and ensures that reviewers have no personal or professional connections with the authors.

Criteria for Evaluation:

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on criteria such as originality, significance, methodology, clarity of presentation, and adherence to ethical standards.

Authors must provide clear and transparent documentation of their research methods, data, and results.

Decision Categories:

Following the peer review process, manuscripts may receive the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.

Authors are allowed to address reviewers' comments and revise their manuscripts accordingly.

Editorial Independence:

Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial interests and are guided solely by the manuscript's academic merit and contribution to the field.

Author Guidelines:

Authors are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with the journal's author guidelines and ensure their submissions adhere to the specified format and style requirements.

Timeliness:

The editorial team is committed to providing timely feedback to authors throughout the peer review process.

Chicago style 17th edition (footnotes and bibliography format)

Word Limits:

Abstract: 100 – 250 words

Peer-reviewed articles: 10,000 – 12,000 words

Attach the document containing the title, abstract, and complete article

Ensure all required information is complete

Incomplete submissions will not be entertained

Submission Procedure:

Evaluation:

Submitted articles undergo evaluation by a group of editors.

Evaluation focuses on scope and originality.

Notification:

Authors will be informed of the decision regarding publication.

Acceptance:

If accepted, a round of revisions will be initiated with the author.

Final Publication:

After revisions, the final version of the article will be published.
